Tellus Products, LLC Names Asem Mokaddem As Chief Financial Officer

Industry veteran brings 20 years of experience in the Packaging & Paper sector to the new role that will focus on the sustainable packaging company’s next phase of strategic growth and development.

Tellus Products, LLC names Asem Mokaddem as Chief Financial Officer, a leadership role whose central responsibility will be to drive the sustainable packaging company into the next stage of its growth and development.

Mokaddem will lead Tellus’ financial operations, including financial planning, strategy and corporate development, accounting and treasury. He will also be responsible for daily oversight of the pulping, molding and packaging operations, located in Belle Glade, Florida.

Mokaddem joins Tellus with more than 20 years of in-depth experience in the Packaging & Paper sector. Most recently, he served as a Managing Director in Rabobank’s Mergers and Acquisitions group in New York, leading the Packaging & Paper advisory practice. In that role, Mokaddem advised clients on strategic transactions within the global Packaging & Paper sector.

Prior to Rabobank, Mokaddem served as Director of Corporate Development and Strategic Planning at Sonoco Products Company, a leading global consumer packaging and industrial products company. His existing relationships and insight are an ideal fit, as Tellus and Sonoco  are partners in a business venture that produces a line of dual-ovenable products under the brand Natrellis®. Mokaddem began his career as Production Manager at International Paper, one of the world’s largest producers of pulp and paper.

Mokaddem holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and a master’s degree in Computational Engineering from the University of Mississippi as well as an MBA from the University of Virginia – Darden Graduate School of Business Administration.
